This 2009 “Single Vineyard” 100% Cabernet Sauvignon is deep crimson in color with aromas reminiscent of baked berry pie, vanilla and black pepper. This juicy fruit forward Cabernet is extremely well balanced. Smooth tannins with aromas building in the glass from air, provide length and richness to the palate, finishing with interesting characteristics associated with the “Atlas Peak” terroir. While very interesting and drinkable now, it will continue to gain complexity with additional time in the bottle. Enjoy with your favorite meat dish, pot roast, roast duck, assorted cheese, and most of all, your empty glass!
